Our little Chasers completed our family on April 19, 2010. On May 18, 2011, Chase was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy at 13 months of age. This condition is the result of the abnormal growth and arrangement of muscle fibers of the heart, leading to excessive thickening of the heart walls. As a result, he is at a very high risk of cardiac failure, arrhythmia's, and sudden death. I have started this blog so that his loved one's could follow his journey as we learn more about this condition. Thank you all for your endless prayers and support in our behalf.
